We are so excited to announce the launch of our new Uncover Skincare product range: Aloe Invisible Sunscreen, Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser, Rooibos Glow Toner and Argan Hydrating Moisturiser.
We have been carefully crafting these products for 2 years, studying the science of healthy skin with our team of top formulation scientists in the world’s best labs harnessing innovative K-Beauty technology with African Botanicals.
Co-created by our community, we worked closely with our community of over 50,000 women in Kenya to test these skincare products, receive feedback and adapt our formula accordingly to make sure we meet all your skincare needs.
Each skincare product is individually created to give your skin the beneficial power of antioxidants and nourishing ingredients. Read on to find out more about each of our newly launched products:
Aloe Invisible Sunscreen
No White Cast + High Protection.
This broad spectrum, high protection SPF 50+ sunscreen protects skin from harmful UVA & UVB rays, prevents sun damage, premature skin aging, dark spots and hyperpigmented skin.
The Aloe Invisible sunscreen is characterized to be a lightweight formula that leaves no white cast on your skin. Infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe vera to give the skin intense hydration and moisture holding capacity while offering high protection against UV rays.
How to use the Aloe Invisible Sunscreen
This sunscreen should be used as the last step of any skincare routine. The general rule is two full lines on two fingers and apply generously on the face and neck daily. It’s best to wait for 15 minutes after using the sunscreen and let it dry on your face and form a film, before you step out.
Use this sunscreen daily regardless of the weather, and even when you are indoors. This is because UV rays are able to penetrate through the clouds and even windows. For maximum protection, apply the sunscreen every two hours throughout the day.
NB: You can apply makeup after applying SPF.
Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser
Detoxifies, deeply cleanses and soothes skin.
This Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser is infused with 0.5% Salicylic Acid, Green Tea and African Rice Extract to deeply cleanse the skin, removing impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin’s moisture.
Powered by soothing and antioxidant properties, this cleanser minimizes the appearance of pores and reduces inflammation for a clearer complexion.
The addition of ingredients such as Green Tea, Rice Bran ensures there is no irritation associated with this cleanser. Furthermore, supporting ingredients in this cleanser, such as Glycerin and Tocopherol ensure that this cleanser is compatible for even the most sensitive skin types due to the moisturizing properties of the ingredients. This cleanser is gentle but works well, helping clean your skin deeply, preparing it for the next step of your skincare routine.
How to use the Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser
Use this cleanser as the first step of your skincare routine, in the AM and PM.
Use at least a pea-sized amount of cleanser with water to thoroughly cleanse the skin. Cleanse your skin for approximately 60 seconds, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Rooibos Glow Toner
Rebalances skin and boosts skin regeneration for an instant glow!
Infused with 1% PHA, Hyaluronic Acid, Kombucha and African Rooibos Leaf Extract to protect the skin barrier by balancing skin pH and gently exfoliating the skin to get rid of dead skin cells boosting skin cell regeneration. Powered by anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, this toner removes additional impurities while hydrating and restoring the skin.
How to use the Rooibos Glow Toner
This Rooibos Glow Toner prepares the skin to absorb your post-cleansing skincare products. Use an adequate amount of this toner twice a day on dry skin after cleansing, then follow with a serum or moisturizer.
Argan Hydrating Moisturiser
Intense hydration and moisturisation.
This lightweight and deeply hydrating moisturizer is infused with 3% Squalane, 2% Niacinamide, 1% African Argan Oil, Hyaluronic Acid and Moringa Extract to nourish and revive skin. Powered by active ingredients, brightening properties and antioxidant benefits to protect the skin barrier, remove impurities and brighten dull skin. The ingredients in this moisturizer work together to boost the hydration of your skin.
How to use the Argan Hydrating Moisturiser
Use the Argan Hydrating Moisturiser after cleansing, toning, serum/treatment but before your sunscreen. Always remember skincare is layered according to thickness and consistency, so a moisturizer should always come after your water based serums. Use a generous amount for your face and neck.
