Aloe Invisible Sunscreen: Everything You Need To Know About The New Aloe Invisible Sunscreen

Why is sunscreen important?

Sunscreen has a sun protection factor that shields the skin’s health and appearance by protecting it from skin cancer, inflammation, dark spots, sunburn, and premature ageing. You should always pick a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher for daily use – hey consistency! We know it can be tough to be diligent but hang in there, it pays off.

Ensuring you’re using the right sunscreen and skincare products for your skin type, in general, is key. If you need any clarifications on skincare products or concerns, an in-person one-on-one consultation with our in-house licensed esthetician, Becca Kisakye, will get you sorted. How to Use The Aloe Invisible Sunscreen

Put a significant amount of the NEW Aloe Invisible Sunscreen on your face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours. The rule of thumb is to use the equivalent of 2 full lines on 2 fingers (index and middle finger).

Before using sunscreen, there’s some skincare prepping you need to do. Cleanse your face, use a gentle cleanser such as our NEW Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser to remove impurities and excess oil without stripping the skin’s moisture, then according to your skin needs and concerns, follow up with a toner, serum then a non-comedogenic moisturiser (one that does not clog pores) before wearing sunscreen.

4 Benefits of The Aloe Invisible Sunscreen

  1. Cools and soothes the skin

Aloe vera immediately provides relief from the discomfort that comes from sun damage while its anti-inflammatory properties make it one of the most effective solutions for sunburn.

  1. Offers broad-spectrum protection

The sun protection factor, earlier discussed, indicates the level of protection from UVB rays. An SPF of 50+ in The Aloe Invisible Sunscreen coupled with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera protects the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.

  1. Doesn’t leave a white cast

The white cast associated with traditional sunscreen is now a thing of the past. The Aloe Invisible Sunscreen is also lightweight making it super easy to work with but we’ll let you be the judge.

  1. It’s hydrating

Hyaluronic acid is responsible for the sunscreen’s hydrating properties. It increases the water content of the skin making the skin elastic and plump while reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
